Gale is a multi award-winning professional representational artist working mainly in oils and acrylics. She is a Signature Member at the Federation of Canadian Artists & recently won her category at the 2023 David Shepherd Wildlife Artist of the Year Exhibition in London, UK.
Having grown up in Zimbabwe/Southern Africa the landscape, wildlife & people imprinted on her for a lifetime. Revealing people and their essence holds predominance in her love for painting, continuously travelling and capturing segments of life on her journey. Curiosity paired with a progressive approach toward the traditional values of her craft allow her to find great personal value in her ever-evolving skillset.
In 2011, Gale moved to British Columbia where she formed her new connection to the local landscape. She has since made her mark on the North American art scene, but continues to explore beyond borders to add to the eclectic nature of her work.
Gale sincerely enjoys sharing her experience and has been taking on students for the last 30 years.
